Pics of aftermarket switch locations

Hey guys,

I recently built an onboard air system out of parts and components I've been collecting over a year or so. Seemed to only make sense to add a set of air horns to the mix, so I scavenged a set off an old boat. Never thought to test them before having the air system all together....but I tried them out yesterday and they are just way too loud to run off the horn switch all the time, so I want to put a toggle somewhere in the cab. For those curious, my current plan is to boggle between (a) Stock horn and air horn (b) just air horn, done via a relay to the solenoid.

Anyone have any pics of installed aftermarket switches? I've only seen one post on here that answers the question, which is a cool option (mounted in the little try in front of the shifter). Just curious to see other options before I start drilling

Thanks in advance,
TAC

This is the video of another forum member EpicCowlick from the 6.7 diesel forum, he has several videos of different things that he does to his truck. HEre is the air horn install etc. Having the air horn set up with the switches like he has t would be ideal I would think since you will not be using the air horn all the time. Hope it helps.

Here is a pic of the upfitter switches in a Ford Raptor and where it is located...I don't see why yours cannot be located in the same place...unless there is not enough room.

Here's my setup. They blend right in and look factory, IMHO.

Thank you both for the input!

juneau76 - Where did you run the power from?

*Edit* just got a "add a fuse" and thinking about using #44.

Thanks,

I'd have to trace it out to know. They were installed for me and paid for by my Fire Dept, so I don't know off the top of my head. I'll grab a look when I get a second.
