I've been known to clean things. Blue was in dire need of some paint restoration.

A quick test area:

Got some cleaning started on the top and parts related, since they're off of the truck.

Ordered some long tube headers tonight and also got some new speakers. Luckily, Walmart had the 6x8's I needed!

How did you go about painting the underside? It looks great. I tried that a while ago and wasn't too satisfied with the results. I didn't do much prep though, and I live on dirt roads so it gets dirty super fast unless I drive 5mph.. (which I usually do now because its only like 1 mile of dirt roads to my driveway). I want to paint it again, maybe use so "sound dampening" paint stuff and see if it works.

I prepped by degreasing the frame with some concentrated cleaner. Had no rust to bother with. Then I hit it with some Rustoleum undercoating.

I'll probably do that sometime soon then too. I used Simple Green for a little bit, but started to get bored so I just started painting. The paints not falling off.. it just gets dirty so fast with my roads.. Yours looks great though!

I would love to paint my frame, but on top of the rust i got the original frame protective liner that for put on. Or about 1/5 if an inch of grimy crap... I would need a chisel to get it off, plus not having a nice car lift makes me not really want to do it...
