update, i got a few runs in with the tuner. ran 16.164, 16.163, and 16.158. spun like hell and got an extra 7-8mph in my trap speed so its about 88mph
so, that tuner took me from a 17.3~ to a 16.1~ not bad! i gotta do somthing about tires, and maybe changing a few other things around. i wanna see 15's... i saw a guy with a crew cab 7.3 auto w/35" tire run 15.4 with a edge tuner, intake and 4" exhaust.

wow, there cheaper then strictly diesel's i was hoping to end in the 450-500 hp range tho, not sure if i want to spend the 800 now and 1600 later for bigger injectors. either way i'll have to ship out my chip to get re burnt for them. maybe i'll wait to see if anybody buys my tonnaue cover, or m-90 and get them with that money.
also, will a stock fuel system, low milage hpop, lift pump, and non-regulated return hold up to even the 160s?

I know its a dodge with a cummins, but he was running high 12's at 115 in 4 wheel drive. His mods were bigger injectors, twin turbos and a well built trans with a shift kit. He decided to buy ladder bars for the rear and i tried to talk him out it, i explained how ladder bars are designed to work but he didnt listen to me. The input shaft in the tranny snapped because of the weight and the huge amount of torque diesel's make. I drag raced and built chassis for almost 30yrs. Heres one way to lower your 60's, shallow stage, leave on the last yellow with a little boost and see what happens. Good luck.
