Poly Cab Bushings

Anybody have any luck with these? I've been told that they'd be harsher because they're harder than the OEM bushings. I've actually installed a few sets myself on a few 90's Fords and I was impressed with them. I can't really say I could tell a difference because the trucks were riding on the frame rails before I put bushings in them. Only reason I put the poly bushings in these trucks was because the $70 vs. $250 kinda made it an easy pick.

The bushings on my '99 are shot... the cab has settled pretty good and I've got a knocking under my floor. It's not when I hit big bumps, it can be very rapid as the road vibrates the truck. I've gone through everything under the truck and it's all tight so I know it's the cab bushings. Anybody ever used the poly bushings on these trucks?

No, but I plan to. I put a set on each of 2 rangers I have owned, and had great results.

Yup... I put them on a couple OBS trucks ('95 and '97) and I liked them, too. Thing is, both were riding on the frames so I really don't know how they compare to stock bushings.

i plan on installing a set on my 2004 F350 this summer, i too was looking for someone who did this on a Super Duty with no luck. Ive installed energy suspension body bushings on my 79 Bronco, 78 f150 and 85 f250 mud truck with awesome results. ride was no worse then stock and a hell of allot cheaper! i assume your installing daystar since they are the only ones who make them for SD's?

I'm not sure... whatever Bronco Graveyard was selling. I believe you are right. Energy makes them, too, I believe.

That's good to know... I really don't want to have to deal with this again. Plus, I've been thinking about red just to make it look cool. We'll see!

energy suspension website only lists daystar as the only company who sells them? If energy list it that way it must be true

Hmmm... well, I think the ones I bought from Bronco Graveyard were Daystars. Well-made for sure. Fit great and lined up perfectly!

No... my bad. I've done them on two OBS trucks (a '95 and a '97) and I liked them. Thing is, I couldn't compare between stock and poly because the cabs were sitting on their frames by the time I replaced them.

Well, only reason I wanna do mine is because I think it might be hitting under my feet... also, my body lines are off.

i know the early SD's had loose body bolts, did you check yours yet? But if your body lines are off your bushings are shot

They are off, but I might could try loosening them and then torque them back down again...
