Excursion members other rides/toys
As I read all the post from other Excursion members, I often see there names or signatures often have hints of their other hobbies. I love cars, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, almost anything, and I would love to see what everyone else has built, or is currently working on.
I couldn't find any other threads on members other rides so I thought I would start one.
Here are some pics of my other habitual project:
Here are some from the build:
Here are some other older toys that are now gone:

Here's my most recent "addiction":
Stripped to bare metal, seam welded and painted Porsche Ultra Silver inside and out!
The famous "Godzilla" motor from Japan. Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R V-Spec with fully built internals and N1 turbos. Yes, it's little 2.6L of displacement make MORE whp than my Excursion...
This was on a hot/dry summer day after several runs where the intercooler was pretty heat soaked. It's pulled over 500rwhp on cool days in this 2536lb lightweight!
Intercooler nearly twice the size of the radiator!
Coil-overs with custom brakes with Porsche 993 calipers:
8-Way power seats from the same Porsche 993:
Full set of custom gauges & MOMO steering wheel:
All new carpets:
Fully undercoated for long lasting protection against the evil rust monster!
The final result of 5.5 years of blood sweat and tears:
Here's the full list as it stands today...
Nissan/Datsun's (thumbnails for many of these are in my sig):

I like it. Looks like a fun toy.
Ours has been boating for more than 10 years. Sold the boat after starting the family. We had a 1988 27' Webbcraft with twin built 454's. It was a fun toy. We used to trailer it all over the Pacific NW and would go to fun runs, lake camping, etc. It weighted around 8000lbs but would still run 75mph out on the water. It was a sleeper and would surprise a lot of people by how well it ran. My friend with a 35' Fountain used to get pissed that he couldn't keep up. Could handle rough water well. Had two couchs and a bed in the nose, stand-up bolsters for the driver and co-pilot. The down side was the fuel bill. Could burn around 70-80 gallons an hour at full throttle - around 1mpg. At cruising speed of 50 it would get close to 3mpg. We would often launch it and go on trips up to a week long.

i have a few other things i like to play with.
i have three other trucks. one of which is a 98 expedition XLT 4x4 5.4 81k miles. bought it from my grandpas company in 2010 with 63k miles the same month i bought my old '00 excursion which was totaled. i've done some mods and cleaning up and i really enjoy it because it brings back childhood memories of being in my grandpas white '98 expedition xlt.
one of my other trucks is my '91 f-250 4x4 5.0/auto with 67k miles. shes my work/plow truck and does her job well. i've had this truck since i was 10 years old and put alot of work into it over the years. painted it myself totally redid the interior..ect
my third truck and its my baby is my '96 explorer limited 4x4. i got this truck when i was 14 and put my heart and soul into it. over $12k invested not including the price of buying the truck. it was involved in a bad wreck 10-26-11 which totaled it. i'm hoping to rebuild her.
before
after the wreck
oh cant forget the fourwheeler

my grandmas 2006 chrysler 300C Hemi awd
my grandpas 1956 chevy bel-air conv
1972 olds delta 88 350/auto
1969 mercury cougar 390/auto xr7
my dads 1976 corvette, hes owned it since he was 18 and its pretty well moded
