Riffraff Billet Plenums Installed

As you all know Clay at Riffraff Diesel is now offering a pre-order on Billet Intake Plenums. I was fortunate enough to test fit a set of them for him on my truck. They are truly a thing of beauty and for the guys who have already ordered them, you are going to love them! These things are built so nice that it is a shame to reinstall everything else over them.

For those unsure if you want to go with them, the install is actually pretty easy. It does require pulling the fuel bowl, turbo and pedestal, but well worth the little bit of work IMO. There is no doubt you can crank those boot clamps down tight now!

Since we all love pictures, here are a few from tonight's install. They are from my phone, so not the best quality. I will pull the better ones off the camera later this week or the weekend.

I opted to buy stainless steel hardware for my install. I think it makes the black anodizing pop!

For those of you who enjoy a finely machined piece of material, feast your eyes on these pictures.*

Very nice Ken, and Clay!!!

If I got some, I'd want them raw and just shot clear, nice looking pieces though.

Very nice boys. Funny thing, as I looked over the pics of these beauties on that super clean motor, I developed a serious hatred for you Ken.

Seriously jealous admiration

Clay did mention to me there was a chance to get them anodized clear. That may be the option everyone is looking for!

Those are sharp - Nice install work Ken & Clay - Made in USA looks very good on those pieces. If there were more businessmen like Clay we could bring some jobs back here where they belong. - Sorry for the off topic rant but -------

They look awesome, but I cant wrap my head around ?why? can you guys help me out here.... I know the factory pieces are paper thin and I put Clays reinforcement inserts in mine and they work perfect. Do the new pieces help flow more air or just look pretty and are thicker?
Nevermind I just read this http://www.riffraffdiesel.com/mm5/me...Category_Code=

while i cant speak of the volume or air flow properties of these i got them because my plenum inserts mad the intake Y to my h2e sit off.....the Y and the plenums no longer lined up good because the inserts raised the plenum.....i know it doesnt stick up hardly at all but it was enough to have the boot all caddywompus once they were installed......that and i like the idea of the o-ring or gasket instead of more ford gray rtv.....hate that stuff.....

I have one suggestion, can Clay add the symbol of the iron cross with the pistons next to RiffRaff on it. That would look really cool if he can do that.
