Didn't you just do those ball joints? How many miles on them?
Yes I just did the steering knuckle ball joints all 4 of them.
The one I need to do now is the one at the passenger side of the
track bar. 2005 and up have a total of 5 ball joints. I am tempted
to go back to the shop that did the track bar and see if they will
give something for the failure. Most likely not.
BTW both of these photos I found on the web. They are not ones I have taken.
I was told by the mechanic that Ford has a bushing repair kit. BUT he has never used it and he used to work at a Ford dealership.

So it looks like I will be doing all the rods and bars on the front end and then buying some new tires.
XFR ball joints and nothing else. Oh and by the way,the parts bill for the front of the Ex was a little over 600 big ones. I think it needs a steering gear box........I'll try to tighten it up first.

My track bar joint is the only one left that's never been changed yet in 165000+ miles.

Tile is never fun, particularly when you have to do a bunch of cutting -- then there is the joy of grout, oh what joy...
Been there done that. About time to start hitting it again after a few years hiatus. Starting on the outside with this
This is one of 4 trunks on this tree.....not fun in the heat. Would rather be doing interior work

I don't know how you went over a month without having some serious Powerstroke Withdrawl Symptoms
I didn't start mine for a week, but saw it everyday, that alone was hard enough
At least I got to drive the F350 - without a muffler, it sounds like a propeller plane changing the pitch of the prop in relation to the gas pedal
After sawing back-and-forth on the steering wheel to stay between the lines on the roads, I really appreciate the Red-Head steering box on my Ex.
