i dont get why its always #7 that goes on these engines... makes no sense...
low fuel pressure kills injectors, 7 & 8 are the last in line for fuel. Blue spring upgrade, regulated return or a bigger fuel pump like FASS/AirDog for cleaner fuel at a higher pressure... pretty simple really.

I will be doing the Blue Spring upgrade and replacing the injector, hopefully it'll be the last break/fix I will have to do for a while. Parts on this truck are killing me.

One hint. Use the shortest extensions you can if you have to use one.
Then get a good solid Torx bit. The long Apex type tend to wrap up too
much and you get a lower torque value that you need.
So I guess the idea I am trying to get across is stout tools so you don'y
have any twist in the tool as you torque it. I found out the hard way
about too much flex in the tool shaft.
I did my own hot flush on the transmission today. Worked out pretty good too. It probably would've been a lot less of a pain in the **** if I had just found a place to do it for me but I couldn't find anything close, plus I just wanted to see how it would turn out.
Had my first survive done on my new to me F250 along with fuel filters. Yeah I paid a bit more to have the dealership do it, but the courtesy shuttle and lack of lost weekend are worth it.

Sometimes when you don't have the time or some odd tool or just plain
can't it can be a lot less to hire it out to the dealership and you still save money
by having the job done and the what ever you had to deal with taken care of.
And your right about the time to set aside. Little jobs the first time in can take
a bit more time than planned.
I drove mine to get the plow truck and back yesterday. 3-5" storm...ended up getting about 8-12"! Snowplowed from 9am til 5 then helped my buddy shovel and snowblow his accounts from 6 til 330am. Long day lol
