I don't like it.........I love it

Plan to post a thread tomorrow, some pertinent info I think would benefit others, but long story short I have never had the *** end of this truck sideways like I did tonight ..........and I actually gained .5 mpg on the lie-o-meter already.

I changed out 12 of the 14 cluster bulbs this morning. Why 12 and not all 14? The store only had 12. Its not that big of a deal, takes 10 minutes to take the dash aprat, remove the cluster, replace the bulbs and put it all back together. I left the 2 old ones in the spots that illuminate the gear inidcator, the least important in my opinion. The tan ***** are 1/4 turn twist out bulb holders. The bubs cost 4.48 per pack of 2. About 30 bucks total. You can find them cheaper online but I was impatient since I ordered the wrong bulbs the first time.

Nothing broke and they all are lighting! I guess I was lucky on this one. LOL

After seeing the price Ford wants for the bulb and socket I was pretty careful. IIRC it was 23 bucks each.

Failed to mention that I rolled over 200K on the way to work this morning. Seems like yesterday I just picked it up and now I've gone on so many adventures with The Monster.

You can get that lamp for a LOT less at the auto parts store if you ask for the bulk box.
10ea for less than the cost of 2 two packs.
