Solved yet another 6.0 mystery....
While my 6.0 is a well built monster, it had plenty of raw power, but throttle response and power were never consistent.
Somehow I was googling map sensors, then I wondered: "what if the tube was clogged at the intake manifold?" I wandered outside to check and sure enough, it was partially clogged.
This explained why my truck belched out smoke sometimes and sometimes didn't. It also explained how power and throttle response was in consistent. After cleaning the map tube at the Intake manifold, my truck has two extra *****, bringing it to 6 ***** now.
This was WITH my EGR deleted. Some crud in the intake manifold worked loose and plugged the hole.
Either way, my 6.0 runs awesomer

How about a "cab delete"? (No, it's not a 6.0L, sorry)

Always armed to the teeth!
I took mine on a roadtrip to help a buddy pick up a new Super Duty. Since clearing the MAP tube on the intake manifold, my mileage has gone up, throttle response is for sure better, and it's even more of a Monster now.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I love the tires so far, not a lot of annoying road noise. You can still have a conversation in the cab without screaming. They set me back $1335.00 including an alignment. I like the bottom quote LivingLarge (Michael) I also bought a 6.0 and I am not afraid either!!
