When I ran a fleet of 40+ vehicles I took advantage of every rebate I could. Owners didn't want me bothering with 10 or $15 here and there. But you know when I was done for the day everyone I know and their mother had bought filters, tires, batteries, and whatever else with one credit card.

Anyone else running Motorcraft oil? With all the praise for the Delo I might try that next time.
I just put in Motorcraft 10w30 a couple weeks ago and the truck starts and runs well and picked up over 1 mpg on the highway. I don't tow/haul heavy very often. Mainly Home Depot and lowes runs for lumber and concrete.

My truck is extremely picky with oil. It ran horrible on motorcraft. It runs the best on valvoline, and delo. Doesn't like t6 either
I let my truck warm up for 10 min or so today after not driving it for about 24 hours. Was greeted by a about a 12" wide puddle of coolant under it...upper rad hose had coolant around the thermostat housing. Not sure what that all about. Can't tell if lower rad hose is leaking as well

clock and a fresh oil cooler and head gaskets it had Motorcraft oil in it.
But because that is a blend and I wanted full synthetic I went to T6
at the first oil change and have not looked back.

If it's not the truck it something else spending my money. But I guess 14 Year old
Apple 22" Cinema display gave me a good life.

The bottom rear of my truck is coated in 75w140 because my pinion seal is leaking. I have a new seal for it, but now that you mention slop in the driveshaft, I do hear a clunk when putting it in gear. May or may not be the U joints slowly failing, but I'll give this a look too.
