Does that have wet brake bands on the final drives? I did a lot of JD350's and that's what they had.

They are dry, but after 64 years probably slightly wetted.

Sway bar bushings are poly. But havent done the frame one if there even is one there. And the shock ones are still good. I havent had a chance to look at it. Just loaded up my stang with everything but the largest stuff and took off.

There is a frame side one. Mine keeps popping out on the driver's side. I attribute it to the puck lift that will be going away and lessened to only a 2.5" coil spring leveling kit. Maybe I already said this? Haha!

Replaced #7 injector. Removed 1-3-5 injectors and replaced orings including the top seals and cleaned the spool valves. Also replaced the nipple cup orings. All I have to say is what a PITA now I know why people say if your in there replace them all.

Drove around a 100 miles out to some land we have, have not been out for a while, weeds are taking over.

I have a JD 350 straight, dry bands, and clutches. Get em wet and its pull the finals, major PIB.

I did some major maintenance on my '05 yesterday:

-New front pads
-New Calipers
-New rotor
-Greased wheel bearings through abs
-Greased tie rods and ball joints
-Cleaned and greased both hubs
-Upgraded ESOF hoses with tighter fitting fuel hose.

Steering is now tighter and the truck now stops on a dime without shaking everywhere.

Next:

-New meats Cooper ST Maxx 305/70/16
-V/B code spring swap
-Rancho 9000 Shocks

The half moon part? If so, yes. Here's a pic of the part that keeps getting squeezed out.

whats weird is my last truck had a drop in liner for 20+ years and didnt look anywhere near like this one does.. only thing i can figure is the drop in liner in the last truck was anchored all around where this one is only anchored in the front..

Whoever did the spray/roll on liner on mine didn't sand it first, so half stuck and half peels right off. I'm trying to decide if I want to deal with removing it and doing a good spray on liner on my mediocre bed, or just buy a good used bed, maybe an '08 plus bed with tailgate?
