I wanted to try to clearance the stock front front driveline, so I had to flex out the Bronco to get a measurement.
Unfortunately there is no way to make the stock driveline work, i will have to go with a Tom Woods driveline.
Flexed as well as I could have hoped, the suspension has a lot more potential for travel, the shocks are limiting which is what I prefer so i don't have the possibility of body damage from the tires.
I could not stand the center caps on the new rear wheels so I decided not to use them at all, instead I painted the axle shaft the wheel color, I also did that with the front lock out hubs.
I will be taking the wheels, hubs and axle shafts to be powder coated in a couple of weeks.

Not sure if I posted in here about the slight DW I had occasionally with the Bronco, but I did have a slight case of it.
Anyhow, I would check everything and all was tight, track bar has heims and they are good, geometry is good so I figured it was just something I would have to live with.
Well I found out what the issue was, the damned ball joints!
This was quite an ordeal, so I was browsing on Rock Auto and ran across a closeout on MOOG ball joints and thought what the hell, I never did replace them when I cleaned up the axle because they felt good at the time and never thought twice about it.
So I get them installed and they are TIGHT, super tight, the steering wouldn't return to center which made it a dog to drive, had to fight to keep it on the road, but I could tell there was a vast improvement in handling. There was always a loose feeling when I went over a speed bump or a pot hole and that went away immediately, awesome!
Now to deal with the steering issue, drove it for a bit with no improvement so I started researching and found that the MOOG ball joints and Super Duty axles do not play well together, there are stories all over with the same issue I am having. Damn, I am going to have to do these damned joints again.
Went to Napa the other day and pick up a set, paid $305 for the *******s and this afternoon I got off work early and put them in. Holy hell what a difference, this thing drives as well as my stock Superduty now, I love it!
Sorry to go on and on, just really excited about the improvement, going to be putting some more miles on it now since it is so awesome to drive!

Been doing some work on the Bronco, got new 4" leafs last week and putting new front bearings and seals tomorrow.
The passenger front seal is trash, found that while doing ball joints but didn't have the time of money to do them at the time.
Well today it started vibrating pretty badly after hitting a pot hole, felt like a mini death wobble and wouldn't stop til I slowed down. All of my research pointed to bearing so I jacked up the front and found no real play in the bearing however it does make a growling noise when turned. That coupled with the fact that it has a bad seal and I have had to drive the Bronco for work over the last few weeks and it has rained several times I am fairly certain it is the bearing.
I will post some pics tomorrow of the bearings and springs.
