howdy, I have a 95 F250 7.3L truck. I have a steady oil leak coming out of the area of the fly wheel/torque converter inspection plate. I have had this oil leak for months and I have already tried multiple things to fix it. I did the rear main seal and just recently the fuel pump because there was oil in the valley down below the turbo. As of now the valley is dry. So aparently i had more than one oil leak. Im hoping its not the rear main again. Anyone have any thoughts??
I suggest going directly to the powerstroke forum to ask.
But if your high pressure oil pump in the valley was leaking oil and you got it fixed then it's gotta be oilpan gasket or valve covers or the turbo pedestal.
The exhaust bypass valve actuator leaks a lot when it's worn out.
There's a TSB for the o-rings that go into the injection pump leaking. There is a drainage passage cast into the intake manifold and rear of the block that directs this fuel leakage to the back.
I already did the oil pan gasket , actually new oil pan too and did the valve covers too , all done 6 months ago ... Hpop is dry , there is no more oil up top . It's only leaking out of that ispection plate , seems like its coming off the back of the block ???
