Title says it all, rare 2008 Ford F250 V10 that can get the job done. The truck has 37500 miles on it and is in fantastic shape - no scratches, dents, etc. and runs great. Interior is extremely nice and looks like new. The bed has a spray in bedliner that doesn't look like its ever worked a day in its life. The truck runs and drives extremely well. You’ll have no disappointments with this vehicle.
Specifics:
2008 Ford F250 XL model. Options are CD/MP3, AC, tow package with manual extendable mirrors and built in brake controller, and sliding rear glass. AC is ice cold, everything works. Tow hitch has seven pin round and four pin flat connectors. As mentioned, brake controller is built into the dash to handle your trailer.
6.8L gas V10 and ZF six speed manual, L and five forward gears, L is for getting started with heavy loads. With 357hp and 457 ft-lbs of torque it is rated to tow 14,500 lbs, gross total weight 22,000 lbs. For towing and hauling, this truck can’t be beat. Don’t pay the high price of diesel fuel, nor the diesel engine premium, this truck gets it done on 87 octane. This truck is the ultimate in efficiency for an F250 model – manual transmission and 2WD results is much lower parasitic losses when compared to 4WD automatics.
Gas mileage is very good considering the power and torque available. I get around 14.2-15 on the highway at around 66-70mph, and unbelievably I get 16-17 mpg in town running around 35 to 50mph – both numbers checked numerous times with actual miles driven and gallons consumed at the pump, not just on the Lie-O-Meter. I do shift 1-3-5 though, skip gears 2 and four, and I don't drive it like I stole it.
KBB on the truck is around $19k for excellent to $16.5k for fair. I'd say this truck is good to excellent. That being said, I'm only asking what I have in it which is $16k.
I have a carfax for the truck. The truck has had two owners (I am the third), each for about two years. I called Ford with the VIN and the truck has had no recalls issued and has never had any Ford warranty work done to it. It is a solid truck. If I had more garage space I'd keep it around but as a daily driver the size is a bit much for what I want.
Email me or call 919-949-5851, ready to move this truck on.
