WHAT in the World Are You DOING???
After I finish my Pete's coffee,I'm getting my lard-*** outside to work on my new-to-me '65 Fairlane, not my truck. It's sunny, will get in the low 70's later,so I'm going to put in my new Pertronics II module, coil, wires, plus a new glove-box.Then I'm going to wash/wax, detail the interior, and head to the beach for a burrito and a beer.
My condolences to those in "Tornado Land", but to the rest of you - eat your hearts out.

I worked on the woodpile most of the day. I got up in the 40's today! Our snow is going fast. I walked upstairs in the barn and looked at my trucks. I got to straighten the cover on the '66. It won't be too long! Geese flying North all day.
Hope you don't get a sun burn Steve!
And yes, folks hit by the storms need our prayers. I have a son in KY and a daughter in TN and both came close but are fine. Makes you really think!

I spent the day making dust. Block sanding and sanding then more sanding. After about six hours of that I took a break and sandblasted pieces parts for a couple of hours.
Spuuedon if it makes you feel any better it may have gotten down to the high 40,s last night? All of our snow melted in 2006 shortly after it fell.
Funny thing I had burritos and beer also! (no beach but plenty of sand-ing)

i dont know what the temp was today but it wasnt warm enough to play outside. had to give up my work car to my oldest because her explorer lost overdrive. spent the day fixing the window in a 2000 grand prix and installing a cd player and speakers for her. the car is still a pos but seems i am a HERO to her. it was a good day after all. plus i havent played with audio for what seems like 20 years. now i have the bug to buy amps and sub-woofers. i am soooooo weak!

I remember when I was in my 40's...... I'll be 59 in May. Maybe that's a goal to have my 59 back up and running when I'm 59. Ok, today I shopped for clutch slave cylinders with my tape measure and a sketch. We did a lot of chores on the mainland and I'm looking forward to tomorrow when I can spend almost the whole day working on the fridge. Matter of fact I had a burrito and a beer at a mexican place in Mt. Vernon Wa. today, but not a hint of sunburn.........

Hope you good fridge folks dont mind me posting something here to keep this thread alive. After all with the 2 trucks Im restoring I live in the slick and fridge world. I guess the best of both worlds. Anyway I worked on metal outdoor furniture. Im learning to mig weld so I welded a corrigated steel top into a table that was formerly a glass top. While welding the new top on the table I was dreaming about having burritos and beer (dos equis) while sitting at the new table this summer.
