Anyone tow with rear shackle flip?

How many here tow lotsa weight after a rear shackle flip? I have always heard that you should not tow with a rear shackle flip. Anyone know why? If it is ok just wanted personal stories of those that do.

Lateral loads with a shackle flip will put more strain on the hanger

Late model RAM trucks have a shackle flip from the factory.
