I'm with you on this,
The only way I could figure the gages were to one find a company that prints a faceplate bezel of your year in a bigger sheet (Which I couldn’t find) that you can put on one plate and mount it into the 08 or the other idea I had was (see picture) these go around your existing gages, order or make your own and then use that as a stencil and make a blank 08 faceplate and trace it on the 08 and hopefully you get all the idiot lights on there but with what I have going on with my truck, I don’t have the time to try it so it's on the back burner for now.

Ford_1999 I would buy the truck then throw headers on it the manifolds on the 5.4s always leak mine does, my expedition just started and my coworkers does don't replace it with a manifold swap in something better and never worry about it again. It's a pain in the rear to repair but doable, I'm having the expedition done it's even harder because he engine bay is smaller.

You wrote a great answer. I hope he took the challenge! chukker

Years later, the answer is still encouraging. Better to try and find out it wouldn't work than to buy a Prius and give up...

It definitely works I've done it. I'm not done yet but that's do to ADD some procrastination, buying a house and having a wedding lol. I just have to mount my fuse panel and gauges.

That kid loves to tinker as you can see from all the doodads on his truck. It looks great for sure.

It's not very hard most parts can be reused, most difficult part is mounting the fuse panel. It's the only thing I have to finish on mine, door panels and all are basically plug and play some minor wiring needs to be done. My thread in my sig covers most of it.

If you don't have time to DIY, I saw that their is a guy in Florida that can do the build. But he has not completed the steering colum, or the dash eather and I personally don't have 6K to drop, but if you do it looks kick ***.
