Parting Around

Cheers everyone, I'm new here to FTE and have been grateful for the information and enjoying my time spent gathering it. I've been a ford fan for most of my life and learned to drive a manual in a late eighties ford 4wd f150. Bought an old econosaurus cuz I'm sucker for a crusty project. I really enjoy each and every little thing I get to do to the little bus. From my troubles I've got a T18 from a '65 dump truck Anyone around interested in a crusty old T18? Shifts easy, turns freely, could probably use some new fluid. I'd prefer pick up since I'd rather not have to lift the cast Iron. Talk trades or cash. PM or email your call.

Hello, and first off, welcome to FTE! Poke around the different forums, and settle in, I am sure you will love it here. Second every chapter has a buy/sell thread "stickied" to the top of the list, and you can post your thread there. If I remember correctly though you have to have a certain amount of posts before you can do that. I don't need a T18, however, I will keep my eyes/ears open for anyone who is looking for one. Where might this T-18 be located?

O i've found the market place all ready and I'm on my way to the minimum 25 posts to sell, but it may take awhile as I try not to spam or be annoying with forums. Soon as I hit the mark I'll repost in the nor cal marketplace. Thank you for the help I'd sure rather sell it cheep to some ford enthusiast that's going to put it to good use then some complaining craiglister that doing know what a gem I have sitting my garage in a milk crate.

Having been forced to sell some personal items on CL I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. Everyone seems to think my stuff should be free or pretty close to it. That is cool that you would rather have an FTE person buy it then a "non believer" so to speak. If you have to explain it, then they are not the right people for the item.

We appreciate your not spamming the forums to build up your post count, however, posting for sale ads in the general forums as you've done here is also not permitted. What you can do however is to join this chapter and then you can immediately post your ad in the chapter buy and sell thread at the top of the chapter forum main page.

We are currently between chapter leaders but go ahead and submit a request and one of the chapter mods should be able to approve it. And welcome!

Yea, today is my official first day as chapter leader, even tho it says I am an FTE leader, and not a Nor Cal leader. Guess they ran out of NorCal badges. I don't have any powers yet as my magic ring is "in the mail" as they say. However, as soon as I do get my magic powers, I can take care of it. I will also be able to approve your membership into this chapter.

Excellent sounds like I've already met the right people. I'll edit this thread to be less ad like. I appreciate the welcome and am looking forward to be added to the chapter. Thanks for the advice I will wait for someone to come along who knows what it is and what it's worth.

You must be one of the two I approved, but forgot the username of. If so, you are already a chapter member. Nope, just checked the member list and your name is not on it. Also checked to see if anyone has requested a membership, and there are no requests.

He's not showing up as a Chapter member in his profile, so I think maybe not. Perhaps he didn't apply yet?

Could be, if you wish to apply there is a link at the top of this thread next to California Northern Chapter, that says "Join Chapter" Click on that, and make a request.
