I have so much respect for Mr. Heston, he knew going into that position he would open himself up to criticizm from the 'better than you' liberal hollywood two facers. I wish him the best. Thank God for the NRA, the 2nd Amendment guarantees the rest of the Constitution.

Ann Coulter would really annoy the NOW gang and the rest of the far left. I was leaning towards Nugent and Selleck, but now I am thinking that Ann could have a lot of fun and be very effective.
I do hate to see Charles sit down, but I knew it was coming. Doesn't make it any easier.

Ted Nugent might be a little radical for the job however i like him. Selleck i think is alot like Heston with the walk softly but carry a big stick/gun attitude. As for Ann Coulter i never gave her much thought but i think she could be a good choice.
I'm leaning towards Selleck myself

After seeing Tom Sellect keep his cool while Rosie ODonnel lose hers, Tom gets my vote. He knows hypocrosy when he sees it and stands firm in his views. He seems to have a firm grasp on trhe 2nd Amendment and what lies in wait if we were to lose our rights.

Tom or Ann would be great. Ann would bust a lot of the 'good ole boys' stereotypes and maybe draw more women into the NRA, that would be cool. We need more VOTERS, some politicians would sell their own mother to stay in office and as my Mom says, "the squeakin' wheel gets the grease".

I have become somewhat disgusted with the NRA as of late.
seems they care more about the rights of duck hunters and trap shooters than they do for fighting the un-constitutional ban on importing and owning military type weapons.
maybe not so much owning them as having them with all the original features ie: bayonet lug, flash hider, folding/collapsing stocks.
