Keeps any oil vapor from going into the intake and condensing back into oil. I would bet to guess the guys with the 1/2 quart oil consumption would find it in their intake manifold.

The boss intake is a Ford part that comes stock on a Ford car. I would think if you had the dealer install it, it should not void.your warranty.

Basically Ford has to prove that your modifications caused a failure. It's up to their determination though.

Why would ford not have fixed this small issue before putting the 5.0 in their best selling truck?? Even my 04 5.4 3V will not use a drop in 4K, but that is about the only good thing I can say for this engine..........

It's an issue with all vehicles. It's not that big of an issue unless you regularly run your engine to the recline

Got the mirror mod done. Its a little bright outside right now so the leds dont look to bright. Im gonna try to get another picture tonight.
reflector cut
with white leds installed, just wish the string had 2 more leds and it would be perfect to go across the whole reflector

Getting a spray in bed liner tomorrow and exhaust on Thursday. I love it. So much more power than my 09.
What bed liner did you go with and are you satisfied? Just bought a 2012 5.0 F150 as well and am looking for a quality bed liner.
