unless dyno runs are made essentially back-to-back, the raw numbers don't really mean too much because of the environmental corrections that are made.

much better at telling a trend. meaning they can tell you that a change you made was either good or bad, not really much else.

if you want to compare the two, about all you can say is that the EB's torque curve is flatter than the 5.0's. and that the EB seems to roll off the HP sooner and quicker than the 5.0.

These differences only really matter at the drag strip and are moot in real world scenarios except heavy towing. At the strip if the 5.0L guy catches the EB off-boost it's a draw really. But who drives their rig at 10/10 on the street anyway, go with which ever tech/ motor suits you best. Again as silly as it sounds (no pun intended) I found the brawny exhaust note intoxicating on my testdrive of the 5.0L V8, it was also almost -$7,000 versus the EB's at the time I got my truck.

How was the 5.0's torque at 2k rpm?
