A couple of questions on front sheetmetal. I recently bought a 1950 F1 in need of a lot of work . While the front grill assembly is in good shape, I really prefer the 51-52 grills.

If I were to try a transplant, would the front fenders need to be swapped also, or just the lower fender skirts, valence, and grill?

Also, are the bigger truck grills wider than the F1, or can they be swapped in?

You need to do the whole front end, even the inner fenders are different.

The fenders are different also. Pretty much everything from the firewall off is different.

The grills on the big trucks are the same, but the fenders on the big trucks have bigger wheel openings than the F-1's.
