I’ve also picked up 33 more hp on the dyno with tuning. I just want to see the 6’s in the 1/8 mile. This video is of a 7.03 pass 1.46 60ft time.

Hey Tom,
Thanks for the update on your F1 Engine - that's some serious fast.
My suspension is a challenge at 65 - if I could get mine to
go full throttle in a straight like that.... Nice.

Zflash - I can't remember - Did your engine come with all that bling on there? Looking good down there in Houston.

Lowering it into place.

Sitting in place.

Now I have to fabricate the rear tranny mount.

Hi

That looks like a killer.....

May I ask what your setup is?

Internal:
heads:
Intake:

I have been thinking about about building a new motor but I haven´t made up my mind yet on what kind yet. One day it is a new boss 302 the next day a 393 or 408 stroker, third day a boss 302 block with clevor heads and E-Boss intake from edelbrock. But in the same time it hurts a littlebit to part out the old Y-block, so then I think about making some fun out of the Y.block, as fun as it gets with a y-block.

Best regards Jimmy

Here's what it looked like a year ago in Oct:

And here's what it pretty much looks like now. In mock up, 5.0:

I have some GT40s for it, headers, Edlebrock performer aluminum intake, new Holly 600.

Looking forward to having $$ to rebuild!

Thumbs up 77 302 & C4

Believe it or not, I own my own engine stand, but it's on loan to a good friend so I whipped up this thing so I could move this combo around. That is the box for my '49 F-1 sitting just behind the engine.

I had this running gear in my very first vehicle; 77 F-150, but the truck rotted away so I took my very first engine build out of it and am going to give it a 2nd life in my F-1.

Hey Guys,
Jim - That's a nice looking engine - not sure but the headers
look to be white? Is there a reason - I never thought of painting the headers - My eyes could be going...

Panelman - Wow - that's a work of art -I didn't paint mine -
now you have me pondering it....
