brake problem F53 chassis

Hi @ all,

I´m a new member and I would like to post a question:
I own a 1999 Pace Arrow motorhome by Fleetwood, 35ft, Ford Triton V10 6.8l<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
VIN: 3FCNF53S2XJA32486<o></o>
I´m living in germany and the motorhome is just for vacations in the USA. <o></o>
Now I need new brake pads and brake rotor (or disk) for the right rear side. <o></o>
The wheel has 8 bolts.<o></o>
I contacted Ford and they gave me this numbers:<o></o>
The part numbers you need are 8u9z-2001-c for the rear pads and<o></o>
f81z-2c026-aa for the rear rotor.
But I contacted another dealer and he gave me for the rotor the number:
6u9z-2c026-a.
In the meantime I contacted different dealers and some said 6u9z-2c026-a and some said f81z-2c026-aa.
<o></o>
I found a picture in the internet that shows 10 holes in this rotor, but my wheel has only 8 bolts.<o></o>
Is there something between the wheel and the brake disc? Is there a hub between? I can´t look at my motorhome, because it is in the USA and I found no picture that shows me the contruction from the brake and axle.<o></o>
I know german car breaks but no american motorhome breaks
Could anybody figure out which rotor is the right one?
I would like to buy the spareparts I need and repair the breaks by myself when I´m back in the USA.
Thanks a lot
Joe

Yes. the holes you see in the rotor are not the holes for the studs that hold the wheel on.
THere is a hub that has both the hole for the rotor and the studs for the wheels.

O yes, thank you! I found a video at youtube where I could see that.

Do you have any idea how I can figure out which part number is the right one?

Brake problem with F53 chassis / 1999 Pace Arrow Motorhome.

8U9Z-2001-C (replaced F81Z-2001-CA) = 1999/2002 F53 Stripped Chassis / 1999/2002 F450/550.

MSRP: $83.30 // FTE sponsor tousleyfordparts.com price: $54.98.
---------------------------------------------------------------
F81Z-2C026-AA = 1999/2002 F53 Stripped Chassis / 1999/2002 F450/550.

MSRP: $149.97 // FTE sponsor tousleyfordparts.com price: $98.98.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Note: I do not have a Ford truck parts catalog after 2002, the following info came from Tousley's website:

6U9Z-2C026-A (replaced: 1C3Z-2C026-AA) is not listed for an F53, is not listed for anything prior to 2003.

Type (edit) part number 6U9Z-2C026-A into Tousley's website to see all its applications.

Once you've signed on...click on HOME, then type the part number into the box, notice there are 5 pages of applications.

For further assistance, contact Tousley Ford, located in White Bear Lake MN

Edit: There are no applications listed for F81Z-2C026-AA
