Another Ohio truck meet! Sunday, June 3rd

On Sunday, June 3rd we plan on having another truck meet in Millersburg, Ohio. You may have seen our past meets 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. This one will be the same. We’ll get together and shoot the breeze about Ford trucks (and trucks in general), then we’ll drag a trailer up and down a 15%-17% grade hill and compare how the trucks did. It’s always a fun, educational, and occasionally piston melting, turbo breaking event.

Post here if you are interested in coming. As we get closer to the date I'll be posting campground and hotel information for those that may be coming before hand.

I also posted this thread in the Super Duty, Excursion, General Diesel, 6.4, 6.0, 7.3, 6.2, 3.5/2.0 EcoBoost, 6.8 and 5.4/4.6 forums.

I'll be returning from Colorado a few days prior so I'll see what I can do.
I want to attend one of these eventually but I would have to leave by 2 PM at the latest since it's a 10 hour drive.
I'm not allowed to take vacations that time of year so I still have to report to work Monday looking like this --->
lol.

What time of day do you guys usually run up the hill?

She's got a nice, short first gear so it should be fine.

We typically start between 9-10 AM and finish at dusk when we can't safely continue.

I am planning on it too. I've been curious when another meet was going to come up. They have been fun in the past.

BTW thanks guys for making this a stickie. Saves me the hassle of bumping them. I would rep you all but the rep police said it was a no-no.

Steep hills - yes, anything resembling a mountain - no. The part of Ohio I live in is considered part of Appalachia so I always describe the area as rolling hills. Some are steep enough to be considered a challenge but none are long enough to put a real hurt on a truck.
