Wish I knew what is that I'm using. I had mine done at an oil change place with one of those gizmo purge/fill systems. They added the SCA to it though. That was a year and a half ago and I've been thinking about changing mine just so I'll know what's actually being used. Where can I buy the good SCA pre-charged stuff?

Your not alone Mike.

Rocky, where do you get Peak.

I've been using Prestone pre charged SCA's, its purple. Probably the wrong stuff.

AHH, I understand how that could happen. That really sucks. I'd probably have a broken sawzall too...

Thanks for starting this thread anyway Mike. Good to see oriellys has that, I'm gonna get some as I'm pulling the plug in the head for the coolant filter and need to drain some.

Haha I learned my lesson last time with the hammer.

The good thing is I scored a good used low mileage OEM one for cheap. I'm gonna see if I can get mine fixed and hold on to it for a spare

Thanks Mike. My dumb dumb move was probably four years ago changeing the water pump at a RV park. I hit my radiator pretty hard with the fan. A couple of nice big holes. I'm glad that some little kids were not walking by at the time, LOL. I used that weld stuff, it held it until I got home. I got a metal radiator, a little extra but a nice radiator.

This is what I have been using SIERRA Antifreeze Home Page and I use Wix brand SCA.

As far as I know it has been doing a good job. When I changed the injector cups a while back the inside of the heads looked real clean.
