I can't help you but others on here may , if not you might try posting this in the dent side forum . I spend a lot of time there and a few of them are using the CV IFS under their dent sides.

I used a 1980 f150 rearend.

 

@Johns53f100, how does the 1980 reared compare with the CV IFS with respect to:

• width
• diameter of rotor
• number of caliper pistons

?

 

If I remember right it is 65.25 inches, that's close enough for me. I bought it cheap and it's limited slip so I'm going to use it. These 80 model trucks had drum brakes not disc but that's fine with me.
You can look at me gallery and see it installed and it does have 9 inch wheels on back.

 

80-83 ford f100 had a 9" with 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
You'll have to adjust the spring perches, possibly shock mounts too.

 

Thanks. I'd need to convert drums to disk as well. What I was hoping for is a 9" unit that had the 5x4.5 bolt pattern AND disc brakes. I guess that I'm just too greedy/cheap.
