Fuel Sender Question

Alright so we're buttoning up the F1 for it's first fire and hopefully soon drive. The fuel gauge is the one thing I'm not too sure about. I bought some Dolphin gauges but the fuel sender would need some work to make it fit so I'm curious, what ohms does the stock '48-'50 F1 fuel sender use?

I'm jumping onto the 12v bandwagon and I've read of people using their old 6v fuel senders but not specifically for this application.

Any info would be great, I'm sure some of you have done this before.

If you're using a stock tank get an adapter from Sacramento Ford or Classic Haulers which will allow you to bolt in the 5-bolt sender for your Dolphin gauges into the 6-bolt hole. There's no way to make the original sending unit work with the newer gauge that I'm aware of...
