i searched and found that i would need motor mounts, bell housing, clutch assembly, alt bracket, power steering?, and starter to swap in an fe motor in a 77 f250 4x4 that had a 351m in it factory
is this all i would need
would it be possible to use the current power steering pump and linkages with the fe, if so how would do it.
the radiators and fan shroud should swap over, am i correct
it would be to expensive for a 460 swap and a 6v53n with jakes and a ten speed rto-6610 is not exactly a weekend project
thanks

IMO, ya'd be better off swapping to a 460 since it shares the same trans pattern with the 351M/400.

well i can get an fe motor with motor mounts, bell housing and clutch assembly and starter for all about free to $300
not looking for power, just reliability of an FE
Could i use the factory 351m/400 perches with the FE motor Mounts
or would i have to get FE Perches
thanks for the quick responses
