I located a vacuum pump on e-bay cheap for 7.3 L power stroke diesel,
Its listed for 1996 to 2002 Econoline vehicles.
My vehicle is 97 F250 7.3L and when I type my truck in for compatiblity it comes up not compatible, Is there a difference between the two trucks applications ? the picture looks the same as the one on my truck.
I tried lookind oem p/n up on line to compare but could not find any matches on the ford part sites I have.
I need this part and don't want to pass on it if it will work.
Any body know about vacuum pumps?

 

Look both up on autozones site and see if its the same part no.

I did just that but auto zone does'nt have any listings for diesel econolines so it was un successful

 

Motorcraft Part No.# BRPV6 is what your 1997 F-250 w/7.3L diesel engine requires. That same part number also applies for 1996 to 2003 Econoline vans as well.
