What sort of repairs do you anticipate?

Many rely on generic manuals produced by Chilton, Mitchell or Haynes but I've rarely found anything truly helpful in them, nothing do in-depth as from the factory. Perhaps the later day versions are better but nothing beats an OEM manual especially if it includes an EVTM (electical-vacuum troubleshooting manual)

Most any OEM manual can be found in great or almost new condition at eBay Motors. I've purchased a number of different manuals there and they've been invaluable many many times.

Really any repairs..hate taking it to the shop or the dealer..granted, I'm not going to do the tranny..always had interest in that but never got into one. What is a guy looking at for an OEM..and what to search for on ebay? Thanks

The Ford OEM or factory manuals are available on eBay. You can find them much cheaper than $200--I've purchased several so far myself.

Sorry to say but those Chilton/Haynes/Mitchell manuals tend to be quite generic IMHO and not really aimed at the professional mechanic or something in depth. Mind you this is just my opinion based upon comparing those with the OEM versions I have.

Hope you find what you need!
