I noticed Jegs sells their own brand of exhaust and it looks oddly similar to the heart throb exhaust. Does heart throb OEM for Jegs?

Heartthrob Exhaust

I am really thinking about getting this exhaust for my 5.0; the sound clip doesn't sound too bad and the price is right from Jegs.

 

Kind of looks that way.

 

It is the same system produced by heartthrob sold to jegs. I installed it on my 2013 fx4. Nice sound and performance with only the one flaw which is the drone at 2200 rpm. If you don't tow a lot then it's a none issue. I do tow and spend a lot of time at that rpm so I took it off after a week. Going to sell it on eBay or Craigslist.

 

Heartthrob resells to alot of parts houses. Thats how they got there start. They sold to others before promoting there own brand.

 

Heartthrob started out by making mufflers for stores like Jegs and Summit. They are now selling under their own name.

I have one of their 36" glasspacks on my 79 w/460. Sounds absolutely badass, and doesn't drone.
