Welcome to FTE. Great bunch of guys.
I like silly questions, they are the only ones that I might have a chance of answering.
By the way, we won't believe you have a truck until you show us pictures.

Welcome. Gotta love the black trucks!

The line for silly questions forms to the left by the way.

Welcome! Looks road-ready! That OD trans is a big asset.

Where you from? You can add it to your profile so we don't have to ask again.

Welcome to the best place to build trucks, own trucks, and talk trucks. The only silly question, is the one you dont ask, so ask away. There are many folks for any question you may have, if one dont know the answer, another one will. You have a nice truck to start with so Im eager to see what you may have planned for her.

Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone. It is great to be back into a project with a strong forum base. I am a long time member of the national harley truck owners club. I had a pretty modded up 03 f150 for a few years. Looking forward to getting started on the 54 I love the truck. I have some decisions to make. The more i listen to the 312 yblock the more i like it so i may keep it, triple duece it up and work from there. First things first though i have to get the o/d workin in the tranny. It was workin sooo i have to check the wiring. Truck has had a full ron francis 12 conversion done. I live in western washington state so if anyone needs anything from out this way just lemme know and i shall do what i can to help.

yeah i can already tell. I had about 1900 posts over there. I see you have an 05! nice, my 08 is my third I had a blk and orange 04 as well. The info for the superduty sections is thin and could use some info, the older 150 section is packed with stuff though. Now im gonna focus on my 54 sooo let then knowledge into the F-100 portion of my brain commence.

The superduty section here saved me a lot of time n money with my 05. there is some highly modified trucks in that section of fte. Mine is mild.....but still faster than any sports car that thought he could out run a crew cab 4x4!
