Awesome Junkyard Finds!

Today my dad and I went to the pick n pull a found a great set of trim for only $25. Not a single dent in them. A while back I got a sweet headliner for $100 with chrome headliner trim.

That's awesome. The plain trim isn't reproduced and HTF in decent condition. The highliner is worth around $220 IIRC. That's a REALLY nice find. Congrats.

I thought each side was a mirror of the other. Yeah the driver's visor but figgered the manufacturer would have done the same. Any idea why the driver's side isn't contoured like the passenger side?

So you can put 2 inch gauges in it.

Thanks. Is it pre-cut? If so, how many gauges can it take? IIRC, there's not a whole lotta room up there.

It is not pre cut but I'd it could hold 4 maybe 5 gauges.

I got some stuff from the pull and pay a few years back, What I call the ranger trim, the dent trim with the black rubber,(small trim) door, fender, cab corner, for 1.99, (large trim) bed side, 2.99 each, I got a new windshield still had the tape on it and the truck got hit hard in the rear for 30.00 (had to call my wife to come get that in the car as I had nothing to wrap it up with, intermittent wiper switch with the black box for 2.99, interment clusters truck or van for 16.99 complete, are a few that come to mind. To bad we have a few of them here now days and the pricing had went up 2 to 3 times what it use to be, and they have to compete so older cars and trucks and not so common there anymore. But that was like a candy store to me, I could spend all Saturday in that place even if I found nothing I loved to look.

Does anyone know of yards in BC that might still have parts? I need some stuff for my 78 F250 SC.

Thanks

I've got access to a number of parts trucks. I posted some pictures here and some non-truck stuff here. I'm trying to knock down the price on the red '78. I hate to see these things in the junk yards. They're in line to be smashed for scrap right now but I can have them pulled aside if you want 'em.

As far as "finds" - yeah... I picked up a pair of 6" Dick Cepek off-road H4 lights for $15.00 and nabbed a rear view mirror from a '79 for $3.00.

It's not boasting on my end... if you need something specific and are willing to pay to ship it, let me know.
