Here is more of a once a month meet up out in Clayton, havent been but couldnt hurt to check it out!!

ZAXBYS CRUISE-IN
April 14, 2012 - October 13, 2012-
CRUISE-IN ON THE 2ND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH FROM 3PM - 8PM BEGINNING APRIL 14, 2012 THRU OCTOBER, 2012. DJ AND OTHER ENTERTAINMENT PLANNED. LOCATED ON US70 BUSINESS WEST IN FRONT OF WALMARD SUPER CENTER WEST OF CLAYTON. COME AND ENJOY GOOD FOOD AND BEAUTIFUL CARS.

I also know that at CharGrill on Atlantic ave in Raleigh does a once a month car show on the first Saturday of every month not sure the start (maybe April) but ends in October. That starts at about 4-430 and runs till everyone leaves. Lots of cool classic cars and trucks show up and the food is pretty good too! (my first job was at this chargrill)

The Apple City Rodders hold car shows at Scotty's Hometown Grill here in Taylorsville pretty often to raise money for locals in need.
Then they have a huge show at the high school in the summer.

Hey Fuzzy keep us updated, I have family up in Winston so I could knock out 2 birds with one stone.

I was talking with the head of my program (I go to school for Auto Restoration) and He told me if I wanted to i could use the old air port that our shop is at for a car show. Not really sure how to get something like that started. Anyway the Idea was to try and raise a little money for supplies needed. IF that happens I will be sure to post it up.

Are you going to the Jacksonville show even if your ride isn't ready? If so we can try to make it a eastern ncfte meet and greet.

And maybe use fuzzy's event for a central/western ncfte meet and greet.

Eastern folks post up if yall want to make something of this. Ill make the ride down if there's interest.

Is there any interest in making this car show a meet and greet for NCFTE members?

I will make the trip if there's interest. Weather should be decent. They are having a kids division. Proceedes go to local charities. Its on the Piney Green side of Jacksonville. Click on flyer link in above post for details and directions.

Be a nice opportunity for eastern members to get together. Or any interested members that can make it.

Sorry about not getting back to yall sooner, between work and a new lady in my life, my spare time is not as free as it was. Did anyone check out the show in Jacksonville?

I'll be at The Rock for the Spring Civil Wars 3/30,31 & 4/1.
If you are fairly certain you will be there my wife and I are planning on comming down for the day Saturday. We might not spend the entire day at the track but certainly would like to hang out and catch some racing action with you. Probably catch the car show as well.

Who else can make it? Be a nice event to have a group meet. It does have admission.
Here's a flyer:
http://www.rockinghamdragway.com/flyers/2012/spring-cw/

For those where cost would be an issue we could meet somewhere around the track and just shoot the breeze for a bit and then split up.

Be there or be square?!?.

We don't race anymore but I try hard not to miss the spring or fall race.
Barring an emergency, I will be there.
