so were on the same page here, you need the caps that hold the cam in place?
I have a non pi v-10 sitting in the shop I can check the condition of the caps and get back to you for saturday if they'll meet your needs
just cover me for shipping reaper, I have to ask for some engine **** pics tho
I take it you know the caps are not meant to be interchangable? The caps are torqued to the head and all the journals are bored and honed in one shot to ensure alignment.
yes and thats fine.. i can take care of that.. but yes were on the same page.. need the caps that hold the cams.. if in good shape i can send a money order for the cost of shipping... just let me know how much.

dkf raises a good point... not sure the budget or what kind of "rebuild" this is but if its just to get back on the road type deal and have at it till she dies, plastigauge the journals to see if there in the ball park for clearence with the diffrent caps. Just me thinking out loud
You only have to have the cam bores line honed and they will be fine. If they have too much clearence then you just mill a thou or 2 off the feet of the cam caps and re line hone.
I have two junk PI V10 heads. If you need cam caps just shoot me a pm.
