I'm using a heater out of a 48 ford car. There were a lot of aftermarket heaters available when the truck was built and still quite a few now.

heater

I just finished instaling a heater from MAC's in my 47 1/2 ton . It was an easy install and works well . What I realy like about it is its relativly small size , sits up under the glove box and is barely noticable .

For all your heater needs get in touch . Have some recirculating heaters . That would work fine in your truck .Thanks , Denny

Pudlo , no extra cores here . I also have some that are wasted . Keep them around for the end tanks & tubes .Try your local radiator shop for a heater core It needs to be 2 " thick x 7 7/8 sq. Am going to check with the owner of the shop that repairs & pressure tests the cores for me and see what he can come up with . Will let you know of any resources . Check out Proliance 800-434-4860 PT#399406/PWD1796178 REF H50B . Later , Denny
