Looks great. You'll have to let us know how the 3.31 works with the bigger wheels/tires. Do you tow much?

I like the look. I'm not big on chrome so I am planning to do as much black as I can.

So far the bigger tires with the 3.31 are not even noticeable and I still have to be careful not to spin them.

I haven't towed anything with the truck yet but I do have a fairly large boat and I'm looking for a big 5th wheel toy hauler in the very near future.

Hey Jim. Your truck looks bitchin! I just bought a 2012 Tuxedo Black F-350 FX4, and my kids are encouraging me to lift it. My youngest daughter said, "When are you gonna lift it? Everyone will be in awe of you!"

Now that I see your truck, she's dang right!!

Can I ask the approx cost of the lift kit, wheels and tires?

[QUOTE=JimCantu;
Biggest problem I'm having now is an annoying squeak coming from the rear shocks. Can't tell if it's from the shaft or the mounting point plan on taking look at them this afternoon.[/QUOTE]

first place I find squeaks from the rear is usually the tailgate. It tends to make a lot of noise when closed, rubber and metal parts rubbing together. I would hit the rubber bumpers on your tailgate hardware with some wd40 or something to eliminate this possibility.

And wow man, your truck is really nice looking. Very tasteful. How does a lifted truck like yours do when towing a fifth wheel? I usually never consider lifting because I tow trailers a lot.

Jim hopefully you don't think this is weird or anything but your truck is now my screen saver as some incentive to one day get my own black F350. One day.....

Billet looks good. I'm thinking about the Black T-Rex in both places, and then additionally painting the grill surround the same color as the grill. This would be on a T-Black truck.

The truck was great stock but I've received a million more compliments on the truck since I got the lift and it really feels so much different than when it was stock.

The lift is an Icon lift that I ordered through TruckToyz.com It was right at at $2k, the wheels and tires were through Tirerack.com and were about $3k for the whole set including TPMS sensors and lug nuts.

There are cheaper lifts out there and even some leveling kits that would make your truck look very nice. I just chose the Icon because of the reputation and I only wanted a 4.5 because I plan on towing and it was a perfect compromise. It's more than tall enough to give it a lifted look and fit larger tires but not too tall where I would have a problem towing.

Thanks for the compliments!
