Im 27, Married, no kids yet... I "essentially" run a small HVAC fabrication shop that Ive worked at for the last 10 years and I have a small "business" I run on the side doing fabrication and performance modifications to autos and motorcycles... I have a small fab shop in my garage (Mig, Tig, Plasma, Mill, Lathe, blah blah) ... The Racin in my name comes from racing motocross which I have been doing for about 22 years, and the Drummin is because Ive been drumming for the last 14 years or so... Both are my favorite hobbies...

Almost 52, married twice, divorced twice. Went to a technical high school, studying diesel engines, went to a two year community college, studying diesel & heavy equipment. Recession hit in the early 1980's, so no good paying mechanic jobs. Got a wild hair, joined the Army as a Airborne Infantryman for 11 years. Downsized after the first Desert Storm. Went back to part time wrenching/part time driving. Turned into full time driving. Did that up until four years ago, took a job as a part time plant maintenance/part time driver for a company who recycles used fluorescent lamps and other mercury containing devices, batteries,,plus PBC's (illegal to landfill because of the chemicals) Now, we branched out, recycling used electronics (Tv's, monitors, printers, computers, etc) Recently, we started building the machinery to recover all the nasty chemicals ourselves, so, I am a part time builder and traveling mechanic to repair what we build.

I am an IT manager with a fortune 500 and I am 30 years old. My work life can be pretty complicated and wrenching on my older truck is sort of a stress outlet for me.

Wow we sure have a diversified field of members here. Looks like there's a quite a few of us that cut our teeth running dad's tractors. But the fact that the appeal of these old diesels can range through all ages and many different lines of employment. Let's keep em' coming

I dunno if I should put my age, people will start calling my junior

I'm 18, going on 19 at the end of April, have my level 2 in Auto Mechanics, worked in garages for a lil more than 2 years (minus 4 months of college, 2 months a year).

Currently driving a 5 ton straight truck as a delivery driver for an HVAC company. And deciding if I should go into Machining.

I love mechanics, absolutely love what I do, but hate what I always work on! New cars, to many electronics, and i'm horrible with electronics, and it's getting worst and worst every year, so it's either going to be machining or trucking.

No girlfriend yet....witch is probably why I have alot of spending money for my self

And my dad, hes 54, city bus driver in his 30th year now, was a transport truck driver prior for 5 years.
