a puzzle for you
car in question ; my 1952 customline 2 door w/ flatty power . i have replaced all the metal lines , all the flex lines { twice now in one corners case } , rebuilt the master cylinder and all the wheel cylinders , and all the brake hardware . i still have a right front locking up after a few stops . what i mean by locking up is it wont release or roll . there are no kinks in the lines no obstructions in them or the splitter , so forth and so on . i took the wheel cylinder apart again and blew the lines out making one hades of a mess too , and put it all back together and we were fine for a cuople of days and here we go again ........ i'm short on patience , and on time due to my long work schedule , and i can't think straight at all . anyone got any ideas ????????? i'm going to get a new wheel cylinder but i kinda doubt it is gonna cure my issue ........if you bleed the wheel cylinder off she'll roll again for a bit till ............

You seem to have covered just about everything. However I think I would try to shorten the push rod from the pedal to the master cyl. If that is not easy done then loosen the nuts holding the master cyl and pull it forward about 1/16in and see if that helps. If it does then shorten the push rod (not forgetting to tighten the master cyl nuts).

i will second the master cylinder pushrod being too long.
i bought a truck for the $500 the guy had in it for all new brake parts because the brakes would lock up after 5 miles and stay locked for about 4-5 hours.
i drove it up on the trailer, brought it home, removed the master, shortened the rod 1/4 inch, and sold it 2 hours later for $2500. it never left the trailer from the time i picked it up till i delivered it.

well we found the issue , thanx to checking the pushrod as suggested . it wasn't the pushrod though .......... i rebuilt the m/c last year and it pretty much sat for a year other than to be fired up once in awhile . i geuss the sleeve / piston has developed some rust or something as it is not coming all the way back out . so we are going to remove it and go through it again and really hone the pooh outta the sleeve , or just put a new one on .
