im in the same boat bro, im 10k miles deep and have been conemplating every week...
and yes on the alignment if you do the brkt
only reason i am reluctant is cuz im kinda broke, and have had no symptoms from not re-centering my axle.
yet
brackets for 200 and trackbars for 300, not cheap, i drove my last superduty with just the level kit for about 20k miles....

I do not have an issues with driving, but I see how far the drivers tire pokes out and it bugs me, I know, no one will notice but me but its just one of those thing. I actually seen a bracket on ebay, used for $40 and I was going to buy it and my wife put the guilt on me when I explained what it was for, she looked at the wheels and said I see nothing out of the ordinary why do you need this.. This is the firs time she has ever played that card haha..
But maybe if there were issues associated with not having one I could I show these to her, hint, hint, wink, wink haha lol just kidding

I have a 2011 250 with a ready lift 2.5" front 3" in back leveling kit that came with the relocation bracket and i was told i do not need an alignment with this kit. The truck drives the same as it did stock. However when i put bigger tires on, the drivers side just misses the radius arm and the pass. side clears it more, so not sure if it should be alighned or if it is because the differential is closer to the drivers side and the radius arm is slightly closer to the tire. The truck has 8,500 miles on it so tire wear cant be determined yet.

I am in the process of installing icons 2" spring pack and was wondering if you had trouble with your axle shifting to the drivers side when you released the passengers side spring? I think it's my trac bar, but I'm stumped. The axle will move some, but even with a Radner strap I can't get it shifted back over to get the pin back into the top of the axle. 03excursion 4x4. Thanks in advance. I did unhook the upper sway bar end links. The drivers side springs look crooked too.

Ok
Sounds like mine? But, did you get the pin on the bottom of the spring pack to set in both the drivers and passengers side holes? My axle has shifted over towards the drivers side, but I can't get the pin to line up with the hole on top of the axle. I think that I need to loosen my trac bar. It might be pulling the axle over? The drivers side went smoothly. I torqed it down, then expected the passengers side to go just as smoothly, but as soon as the pry bar separated the spring from the axle, I saw it shift and I knew there was trouble.

Gary- I take it you have leaf springs. Here are some suggestions: try compressing the springs by picking up the axle. This will also swing the track bar and push the axle toward the passenger side. Also a ratchet strap or two are helpful. If all else fails- reread the instructions; grab a beer. Take a step back and look at it with fresh eyes.
