Worked on the model a little more to start getting decals put into place.

I need to get this thing wrapped up seeing the 'real' truck is only hours away from being stripped down to the frame...

A few updated pics of the model:

I am wrapping up the exterior of the model and will focus on the frame (boring!) and the interior - which could be the biggest challenge.

The text on the 'boards' on the bed of the truck is for more of 'what' I want to see on them versus 'how' they should look.

Still a work in progress....

Well, I believe it's done!

I think we have a winner as far as how the truck will look.

The model is by far not even close to my 'modeling skills' - but I wanted just to see what the paint combo would look like - and I am happy with it.

I think it will be unique where I will be the only one with a Ford pickup like it and I think it will really stand out as I am driving up and down Route 66 in it.

The work now gets focused on the 'real' truck as I take the cab off and I am left with bare frame, two axles and four wheels...

The fun begins!!

Ed,

Wow... the model looks great. That will be one good looking ride cruising down the the old route! I'm enjoying seeing what you're up to with this project... very cool idea.
