I am looking at a 1992 Ford F250 4x4 Diesel with automatic in it they have never used SCA in it but have always used diesel fuel additive in it. Truck has 180,000 on it they want to trade my 99 AWD 5.0L Explorer for it what do you guys think?

Here is the CL Ad Clean 1992 F250 Diesel 4x4/Trade

looks like a good trade to me. If it hasnt cavitated yet, it probly wont anytime soon. Just throw some SCAs in it when you get it.

Yeah he texted me back and told me it has been well maintained over the years and only rust is on the tailgate which is normal for MI truck.

Welcome to FTE! Looks like a good trade to me. About the SCA's, at 180k its most likely that theres no damage yet. If it was 250k id be hesitant. Just throw some in or change the coolant all together. I use the fleet charge thats pre-charged with SCA.
