I was at wally world and just for GP I looked for oil filters to fit the EB engine. Wally world had some Fram filters that fit but no MC filters in stock.
Sooo, I stopped at AZ on the way home and looked for any oil filter for the EB and there was none listed in their book. I go to the parts counter to look up the filter and the EB engine isn't even listed in the computer yet for the F-150.
No biggie as the dealer will do the first change but really? Dealer's price for an oil filter?
Rockauto is listing the Wix 57502 as the filter for 2011 F150's with the EcoBoost, and this same filter crosses over to the FL500S that's used on the Flex Ecoboost engine. It's $5 at Rockauto.

why would I buy a wix from rockauto when they sell the oem motocraft for $4.83? I just bought 4 from them. shipping came out to right at 2 bucks apiece.

tasca also has the oem for $4.83
I wouldn't-was just referencing the part numbers and a crossover for someone looking for a filter. Maybe you can get the "break-in tune" fairy to deliver them for you.
