1950 f1 hood hinges

Been pulling my hair out trying to find a set of hood hinges for a 1950 f1 anyone have any advice??? A rebuild kit maybe???

I dont have the sources in front of me..But a couple were recommended by this site, which have been very helpful... I am just surprised that no one, at least that I've found, is remaking or producing rebuilt kits for these..

The set we have are worn out and very sloppy..


Thanks Doc... not sure I how missed those.. I also found another set of brackets on there...and some other hinges at shoebox ford

Chris at Shoebox is a good guy. They're really good to deal with. But keep in mind they deal with car parts. Just make sure he knows you're looking for truck hinges.

yeah I noticed it didn't say car or truck... just Ford.. I'll make sure to double check

Mine were sloppy also,I took them off and put each rivit in the vice and tightined them up.I also laid them flat on a steel dollie and took a big maul and repeened the rivits.The hood works much better now.
