Pure genius, don't deny it, just accept the complement. You are a very inspiring craftsman.

Peekin' in

Don't get on the site as much as I used to but this build is book marked !

I miss the fabrication I did on my '50, but its much easier to just sit back and watch you work!

Congratulations on the fire-up!

Definitely will do on the road trip. Might be too much of a trip for the '50 but time will tell.

Got my running boards mounted.....much better! I think I need to "age" them a bit to match.
Also got the mufflers on, still need tail pipes but will fire it up anyway to see how it sounds.

what kind of bed are you putting on have you decided. The reason i ask is that the duallys look better with the extended running board into the rear fender on old beds but the modern beds are great for your running boards and standard rear fender. When i redo the 54 fenders i want to make long running boards.

Yeah, but why can't I post a full size pic in my thread????
Is this the "new and improved" FTE? If so, it sucks.

pweng, I am putting a flatbed on it. No rear fenders.

GB is that great picture really from 1/1/2001 - 14 years ago? Or did the camera batteries go dead like mine do?

Let's test a few more. When I posted to another thread a day ago it didn't make thumbnails.

OK . . . It looks like it made big thumbnails. And when I click on them the picture that comes up is smaller than the thumbnail

Admins - how can we turn off these thumbnails?
