I found this on the web, made an offer and I got it. 72 short bed, 302, auto, manual brakes and steering. No doubt this truck has been around the block a few times, but well worth a resto. Since I picked it up in Gila Bend AZ, I have replaced the Edelbrock carb with a 600 cfm Holley. I also added the F350 booster and master as well as the G3 alt upgrade with electric fan. Items from my 73 dent side to be added are..
Front disc brakes including new king pins and all of the suspension parts have been powder coated.
The engine is a built 69 351W based 383 stroker, roller cam, H-beams, steel crank, forged pistons, aluminum heads bla bla bla...
Monster Trans AOD
N-Case 9" Daytona with a Truetrac and 3.50 gears. Only going with 28 spl Should be ok, not much weight.
That should make for a fun project.

nice find , definitely has a cam , whats idle set at sounds a little low .

 

It was at 500 rpm, I wanted to see how well the alt put out at low idle. It is now set at 800 rpm.
