New 2012 F150 Screw HD

Picked her up today. Ordered on 10/3. Supercrew 6.5 box, HD, XLT, 5.0. Tonneau cover, tow mirrors and cab lights go on tomorrow.

Put about 100 miles on her today and I can't stop smiling. LOTS more bells and whistles and creature comforts than my 2001 F250.
So without any further ado.........

Looks like 4 leafs.
Now I am wondering how many there are for the regular trucks (non-HD), as well for the max tow package.

I looked at a super cab parked nearby and it had 3 leafs. I should have looked at a non-HD super crew, but didn't.

Congratulations. There are days that I wish I had the longer box, too.

Nice looking truck, boy is that long. What rear axle ratio comes with that? Also does it say HD anywhere on the truck or is the 7-lug the only give away that it's the HD? Also do these ride any stiffer? My Non-HD has a pretty stiff ride already for a 2wd 1/2 ton, so just wondering if these ride and harder?

Yeah, I actually think these wheels are the best looking ones of the stock wheels. But that's probably because I am not much of a fan of shiny chrome wheels.

These look good!

Will do on the pics. My dealer beat the best price I could find on the web for the mirrors and he had 'em in stock. $160 each.

It's about a foot longer than my F250. Still fits in the garage. 3:73 Limited slip. Doesn't say HD anywhere except on the window sticker and it has an 8200 lb GVW on the door sticker. It rides good IMO but then again I think my F250 supercab shortbox does too. BUT this rides better than the F 250.

msalyer, while you are at taking more pics for us ( - thanks a lot!), take a shot of the yellow payload sticker in the door if you could!
How much does it read? My guess: 2,230 lbs. What is it?

Did you notice how jealous I am? Mine will be built in the week of Jan 09, and it will be VERY similar to yours. I can't wait!
