Most likely the fuel drain valve o-rings. The old o-rings will shrink and leak in cold weather. See this THREAD from earlier today.

The fuel filter lid oring will not leak, it SPRAYS EVERYWHERE.

My money goes to the fuel drain valve.

If it's not the drain valve then it's not the drain valve. But if it is see if you can tghten the the drain valve mounting screws a bit.

The leak could be in the passenger side head fuel supply line. It runs from the fuel bowl through a bracket and to the rear of the head. It has been known to wear through at that bracket.

This is a pic of the fuel line and bracket. Fuel bowl was removed when pic taken.

The piece of rubber hose I put between the bracket and fuel line is to protect it from wear.

Just mentioned this in another thread. I wouldnt recommend tightening the screws as a way to fend off a leak (unless the valve is truly loose). If the valve is leaking, the orings need replacing. Plain and simple as far as I am concerned. The bowl is easy to strip, and you can even damage the valve. I would much rather drip fuel for a few days, spend the $5 for orings, and change the orings out than risk over tightening the valve.

If it was that your hood (as well as everything else in the engine compartment) would be soaked.

I did say "a bit". He may not have gotten them tight enough when he replaced the o-rings to begin with.

Oh. I missed the part where he mentioned that he replaced the orings once already. Very good then. Make sure the valve is snug! 22 in/lbs is the torque spec.

Also, give the valve about 10 turns. That can help seat the stem and oring better. I had that issue and 10 turns fixed my leak after installing a brand new valve.

Good idea. Exercising the drain valve can help stop a leak.

Sometimes the obvious goes unmentioned, so... the lid gasket is directional. Make sure up is up.
